Are you a member of MOCA? They have the most exhaustive records of how to correctly do a concourse restoration that I think exists. This BBS tends to be populated more with modders than restorers, althought I'd be happy to see more of the latter show up and post.
They are huge, and they certify judges who know exactly which parts were which color and had which paint swashes where for what options (etc.). They have (at least they used to) small books with all of that info in them that they provide for their members. I'd suggest trying to fins a MOCA sponsored event in your region and head over there, I KNOW you can find what you need from those guys.
