'68 pass. side view mirror

one, was this an option? and two, where can i find a decent repop, if available?

Yes, a RH mirror was an option, and all the Mustang parts suppliers, Glazier Nolan, NPD, MU, etc., will have them. The cars with standard mirror simply used another one on the other side, cars with LH remote get a special mirror in a RH non-remote matching.
