I had this in another post, but I think I need to put it in it's own.
Where do I disconnect the wires that go to the driver's seat belt(assuming it is for a warning light), the short receiver end that mounts to the tunnel? The covering that goes over the belt is very tight, so I am thinking it must be under the carpet somewhere or even up under the dash?
I'd rather not just cut it, even though splicing it wouldn't be a big deal. And I am trying not to cut the carpet, it might be reusable with a good cleaning.
For once I am really trying to be patient and do things the right way instead of the hack way.
