Do they use the same style throttle cables and bracket on the tbi as they do the carb?

Can't recall...got any pictures of one for a TBI?

If they're not the same, they're probably close enough to be adapted...

No TB for '79-'85. EFI started in '86.

He is not talking about what you think of as a TB. Ford offered something called CFI which is similar to the TBI chevy used before multi port fuel injection. I would think it is close if not the same, if all else fails they are cheap to pick up.

FWIW, the Mustang shared a bunch of pieces with 81-88 T-birds...you might be able to find one of them...

That may be true, but this is the Fox Forum. Not sure what vehicle the OP has, sig says " Gone-'98".

I am talking about a Fox. The CFI was offered on Mustangs in 84-85. So my guess is it is a 84 or 85, just a logical guess off of what the OP has mentioned.
