To my understanding the 4v motors come with the 8 bolt flywheel right? I got my transmission out and there are 8 bolts on the flywheel, is there any explanation for this? maybe the owner before me swapped out the crank for a cobra crank, i really am puzzled and any input would be appreciated, thanks

Here's my understanding... all 4V came with 8 bolt..

2V came with either 6 or 8...there's no way of knowing with a 2V until you pull it and see which one you have.

I have an 8 bolt Billet Steel flywheel if you want a good torque flywheel. It came off my Cobra when I put on an aluminum flywheel. Not sure of the brand but it weighs a ton. All it needs is to be resurfaced($20). I can make you a really good deal if your interested.

You'll like it. I went with a RAM HD clutch with a RAM aluminum flywheel. So far it's great, and I was told the quality is alot better than Fidanza or Spec.
