85 EFI Swap

Besides the computer and wiring harness to go from carburated 2 fuel injected, what else needs 2 be changed 2 do the swap?

EFI upper/lower intakes, fuel rails, injectors, new fuel lines, new fuel pump, air cleaner and tube. I am sure there is much more I just cant think of them right now.

i shoulda said i have a complete engine 2 do the swap, so what would need 2 be changed besides the wiring harness and computer? thanks

u will need the efi dist. u will need to block off the carb fuel pump if its on the motor.

you'll need an EFI fuel pump. easiest way to use it is to get an 87+ tank (86 would probably work also, im just not sure if they are the exact same as the aero cars)

so would the carburated fuel pump be in the gas tank like the fuel injected 1's?

No. The fuel pump on your car is on the front driver's side of the block next to the power steering pump. If you switch to EFI, you'll have to buy a fuel pump block off plate to fill the hole.
