Hi guys I just recently picked up an 89' LX convertible 2.3L 5-speed with 99,000 miles on it and am starting the restoration work on it. So far I have done timing belt, coolant flush, oil change and am about to do a heater core and replace plugs, wires and distributor cap on it. Since purchasing the car I have noticed that when my doors are open the door ajar light never comes on and the chime never goes off along with the interior lights never coming on. Even with what looks like brand new bulbs in the sockets. Also I have noticed my warning lights dont come on period except for the parking brake light on the dash, not even when starting the car. I was wondering if anyone had a wiring diagram for the entire interior along with all of the sensors so that I can start tracking down my wiring bugs while I have my whole dash apart. Also I was hoping to go to a white face gauge cluster and was wondering if anyone knew of any that have the Ford Racing or SVT logos on them? Also if possible I need a wiring diagram for the stereo setup, I believe I have 6 speakers as occasionally one in the rear will randomly show up with static and am going through the stereo as well. Outside of this I probably just need the firing order for when I change plugs and wires and am open to any advice as far as to replace anything behind the dash while I have it apart. Oh ad also was wondering if this paint color is the medium shadow metallic blue or dark shadow metallic blue? my sticker with the paint code is not on the car but all of the others are.
