Well, finally after all of this time. Someone has stepped up and created a super light weight RSD for the hatches!!!
(pm me for name) has created a first of many RSD's for the 89-93 hatch vehicles. He used my car as a work template to design his latest creation. build quality is extra ordinary let me tell you. This is not made of heavy plywood or flimsy cardboard. This design has taken months to engineer and use super thin, super strong abs sheets. This unit replaces the flimsy factory board in the trunk area with an abs unit. If you have ditched the spare tire for weight reduction tell him and he will incorporate abs feet that are placed under the unit to give great support. I will take photos later of some weighted items sitting on it to show how sturdy it is. I dont think it will allow the weight of a human on it, but should support 70-80 lbs. Also included in these photos are his new Ashtray delete and Radio delete pics.
EDIT!!! After speaking with administration...please read below.
Out of consideration for the SN policy on advertizing products and services within the discussion forums, there will be no contact information or links provided. I will however, be happy to provide that information through PM and respond to inquiries about where I obtained the materials for my seat delete project.
Anyway, for all of those people who has asked about it.....here it is.
