This is my first ever Mustang and I am looking forward to picking it up in the next couple of days. My previous experience with sports cars was in 1989-1990 with my 82 Trans Am. It had about 160 hp stock with the 305v8 so this is a step up! I had a 88 Corvette for just a few months back in 2012/13 but was not terribly happy with it and traded it for a boat.
I was a bit leery of this car because the CList ad mentioned new cam, MSD ignition, custom exhaust, 3.73 gears, aluminum radiator. After speaking with the owner and finding out they were all installed professionally I felt much better. (Has the 5.0)
Car sounds incredible, got on it just a bit during my test drive, did not push too hard because there was a small coolant leak on the short hose there on the water pump.
Getting pretty excited now, doing lots of research, trying to learn as much as I can, thus the reason I am here.
