I have a 1996 GT that I have am trying to replace the power steering pump. I am having trouble getting the return hose unthreaded or loosened from the pump. Does anyone have any ideas or has done one recently. I rented the pulley removal tool from advance autoparts and thought it may be easier to go ahead and remove the pulley so i could have more room to remove the return hose bolt, but I cant get the pulley off either. That tool doesnt seem to fit right. They said it worked for the 4.6 but I could not get it to work. Does anyone have any ideas or have pulled the power steering pump off a 4.6l? Thanks
