97 Cougar 3.8 to 96 Mustang 3.8 swap....What is easiest non Mustang swap??

New to StangNet...Grampa/son project...have a chance at a low miles Cougar engine for cheap $$...swap issues???...what other "easy" non-Mustang swap engines to consider...only Mustang engines I've found are either high $$ or high miles...bought this 96 coupe for bad weather back-up for my 87 convertible with heater core by-pass...Thanks in advance
