A/C blows through defrost vent

all of the air for heater/ac blows only through defrost vent. has anyone had this issue before. i have a 94 mustang gt.:SNSign:

i had this problem.

a hose that ran behind the intake came disconnected. it became disconnected right near the drivers side.

it fixed the problem for me.

Look for the cracked/broken hoses that run from vacuum tree.

Yeah as stated you have a vacuum leak which is usually a broken or disconnected line somewhere in the HVAC system. This is the default setting from Ford so that if theres ever a problem youll be able to at least defog the front windows to see while driving.

+1 vacuum leak. Defrost is the default when there is an issue.

Take a look at the small vacuum line that runs along the top of the firewall. Chances are it has a break in it somewhere, especially if you've recently touched anything in its vicinity.
