Yesterday was the first hot day of the year so I had the A/C cranked on a long drive. I had someone in the passenger seat and they started saying the floor was getting wet. I really didn't think anything of it but they said it kept getting worse and worse.

I remember this same thing happening to a friend on a road trip to Kansas City but he never looked into it.

I guess my question is what could be causing this?

BTW I did a search and was surprised to turn up nothing.

you ac drain line is plugged up causing your evaporator case to fill up with condensation. locate it under the bottom of the car on the passanger side and shoot come compressed air in there. that is the temp. fix. the long term fix is to remove the evap case and clean out the debris. I would get that tube cleaned out as soon as you can. nobody likes the smell of mildew from a soaking wet carpet...

Alright Im finally back with the car and I hate to sound like a newb but I can't find the evaporator case or the damned drain hose. Is it under the hood or under the dash.

Any help is appreciated Thanks

The evaporator case is behind the dash- you cant see it. The drain is actually under the vehicle on the passanger side right above the passanger side front catalytic convertor area. ---edit: they usually drip right onto the front of the convertor
