Well, I went with the 1/4" plywood cause it was something I'm used to working with. The body filller was to help me make a nice smooth transition from one level to another. The console is going to be upholstered in black vinyl.

Thanks for the info PCH... if I can't find any in the next couple days I might get one of those.'

Those are almost the exact same cup holders I am using. I also got the matching fire extinguisher holder.

Unfortunately... a couple things have halted the console.
1. I got my brake kit in and as I'm now going to be driving 30 mi to schol. that seemed like a more needed project.

2. apparently I was bit by a spider when working on said brakes... which then got infected by a staph germ by my girlfriend (love hurts) and it has knocked me out for a couple days. oc said I was about 2 days from the ER... got lanced two days ago, been on two major antibiotics and vicodin (it's your friend ) since then.

Once this heals or at least allows me the use of my hand I will finish the brakes then get back to work on the console.
