Any one have one, left their seat belts in place, and use a child seat? Not that I have any midgets, but just wondering if it works?

should. only thing you would have to do is cut a slot in the bottom plate for each seatbelt you want to feed through to the reciever. not that hard to do, but might get a little tight to get to...

its completely possible, the only thing would be to figure out a way to keep the buckle part to not fall down under the bench portion. im sure u can get some nice rubber gasgets to go around the hole u cut out of the wood so that doesnt happen

NO NO NO!!! why would you put your child's life at risk to save 20lbs in the car. NEVER NEVER NEVER!!! It will not hold up like the steel reinforced seat will that came in the car. Your child shold be first in your life. Not the car going fast. Please don't do it!
