Good grief, is that the normal price? I was kinda looking at the Nintendo Wii (STUPIDEST name ever!!!!) because it has that deal where you can swing a sword around.. how long until someone comes out with a Star Wars game and you can FINALLY use a lightsaber??

Reg price will run you $600 with no games. Not worth it right now, as the games out for it aren't that great, and you can grab the Wii tomorrow for much much much less.

NOT WORTH IT.........See Ppl were lining up so they can make a $$$$ just don`t get the Point.......why buy it now when you can wait-or is it the mentality " GOTTA HAVE IT NOW " That`s why everybody is in DEBT here in the US.......PAY YOUR DEBT FIRST , DISCIPLINE is the key......either way good luck to those who are ready to spend the big bucks for it-I bought the X-BOX and only played it TWICE so far.

You sound just like all the other folks who are either mad or jealous because you were unable to get one.

I paid $549 out the door for the my sons 60GB PS3. He's been playing it for 12 hours straight. No over heating problems, no performance issues. Works and plays flawlessly. It even came with a free blue ray DVD of Talladega Nights... looks awesome on the 32" LCD 1080i display.

The Southpark World of Warcraft episode came to mind when you said that...where you are bringing him food and a bedpan when he has to go to the bathroom...

Sometimes I think it's almost to that point! The only time he comes out of his room is to eat, crap, go to school, or go to work.

It's a good thing people are making such a big deal out of the first wave of PS3's. They're already having problems with the blue ray and some units won't even play games. Also, you need a HDtv or something to see the awesome graphics because the PS3's graphics engine surpasses a traditional tv.

I think it's great that eBay has closed all PS3 auctions.

Personally, I'm either going to get a Wii or stick with my 360. For $600, I'll upgrade my desktop and still have better game play and graphics than a PS3

Personally i'm still pretty happy w/ my plain xbox. i dont play it enough to justify spending anything over 3 or 4 hundred dollars. i have much better things to spend money on lol.

$600 could be a set of 17" chrome Bullitt wheels.. $1200 is that plus upgraded red-caliper brakes from the Ford catalog, with a few hundred left over. Then you take the $$ you would have spent on games and you have enough for tires. But that's just me.. to each their own.
