I have a new problem that just started last week and I have no idea what is wrong. When I'm driving everything is fine, but when I start to slow down or come to a stop my a/c starts acting funny. The air gets less cool and the engine kinda studders. The engine acts as if it wants to go dead, it did go dead once over the weekend. Other times it just kinda idles funny. This problem doesn't happen when I have the a/c off.....please help. I have a 06 GT....

I moved this to 05+ tech

Have you disconnected your battery recently or had the car serviced where they might have disconnected it?

Reason why I ask is when KAM is cleared on your car the PCM needs to relearn it's strategy for the electronic throttle body.. when this needs to be done it can act like your car is acting..

IF it's not that then you might need a throttle body

Yes the battery was disconnected recently. My roommate had a dead batter and I tried to give him a jump, but it didn't work. The next morning, he tried it on his own and I have no idea what he did. That's when I started having problems. It wouldn't start that morning and I looked under the hood, the positive side was off. I put it on and it started fine, but a short time later, I started having this problem. If this is the issue, how do I resolve it? THANKS!!!

It will resolve itself within 20 miles or so of driving. Also, there's a procedure in the battery maintenance section of the owner's manual that facilitates the PCM in re-learning the idle strategy.
And FWIW, strongly recommend that you do not allow your roommate to mess with your valuable set of wheels again.

I definitely will not allow him under my hood again! Thanks for the advice though. I will look in the owners manual tonight because it has been more than 20 miles already and I'm still having the problem.

If you can't find it let me know. I can post the procedure out of the service manual
