Affordable Nitrous Kit

I know nitrous isnt looked upon as the best way to get power, but it really is the best bang for the buck. After riding in my freinds 99 GT with a 150 wet shot I was sold.

This kit is very affordable and comes with everything needed (except purge kit if you want one), and has a great range of adjustability as far as jetting goes...

What do you guys think?

Never heard of them. I would buy a NX wet kit. Nothing but the best.

$360 sure is appealing. Looks like a legit business, good website. Research them further and let us know what you find.

Sure, the NX kit rocks, but at around $600, you may be paying a few bills for the name. You may have found a comparable kit for much less.

I'd go for that kit seems like a reputable company, the kit looks great and they rate their kits at the rear wheels like NX

If you're worried about it being safe, just like with any nitrous kit, it needs to be tuned.

Yes and no. In reality it is the best way to get power, but what I meant is what people are always saying about it, like "its cheating", or "omgxorz nitrous is insta-death for your engine", and "just go blower" to name a few. Alot of people like to bash it...

Nitrous will give you plenty of extra power.
You should go with the Ntrous Express plate
system and a tune you will love it!
Nitrous is as safe as make it my friend.

I would also recommend a window switch and a low-pressure fuel cutoff switch. If you skimp on those, you'll be posting back asking about which intake you should go with. LOL!

if you dont tune your car and spray it, YES it will blow.
thats just like installing a supercharger and expecting the stock tune to work.......not gonna happen!!

Another thing, im nearing 120k miles on the engine. It uses about a quart of oil per three thousand miles. It doesnt visibly blow smoke out of the pipes, I beleive it is blow by as the plenum is quite caked with oil on the inside.

If I were to go this route (have some people trying to get me to think twice), should I do a compression test before getting the kit just to see how its really holding up in there?

How much torque with a 150 shot?

thats exactly what my dad thinks about nitrous. I tell him all the time though its as safe as you make it. You dont get all the safety mods then yes it could be dangerous to your motor. Get her tuned get a window switch at least and you should be good. I am going to run a 100 shot after i get the heads and cams installed on my car and then get it tuned for a 100 shot also.

A 150 shot is definitely asking for a blown engine, if you don't have forged rods etc. I would spray up to a 100 shot. Get a window switch, FPSS, and of course WOT switch. Don't spray under 3000 rpm's or over 5500. That would be a safe setup.
