No i did find the leak before i removed the heads as i stated. The hole was so so small i bet you could blow air threw it and not even feel it. Oil is used to find pin holes,it will find a hole before water or air ever will.So what type of hose should i use then?peace

Check around where you live - there is probably someplace that makes hydraulic hoses. To make it easy, see if the can make one with an 1/8" pipe fitting on each end. If that isn't possible, then go for a -4 flare. The standard -4 hydraulic male flare fitting comes with a 1/8" or 1/4" pipe thread on the other end.

Be sure to use a gauge restrictor fitting in the pressure line going to the gauge. The restrictor will prevent all of the engine's oil supply from ending up on the pavement before you can stop it if the gauge line fails. I had a gauge line rupture, and the restrictor fitting saved my engine from serious damage.

Just for fun... Oil won't find a hole/leak quicker than air or water, as each of those travel more freely as a rule of physics. That said, oil helps us SEE a leak more easily because unlike air or water, it isn't colorless in general and even when clear, dirt and debris stick to it, pointing out the problem sooner.

Definitely though... go with a brass replacement. You can get these kits at about any parts store and probably even wal-mart.
