I am thinking about going turbo on my car but lack the original alt bracket. I like the additional room afforded by aftermarket setups where it's just the alternator there by itself.

Has anymore made an aftermarket setup work? I was looking at the fox March setup and it looks like it could be made to work, I dunno.

I think 94TURBO5 O had some sort of aftermarket brackets, but it's been forever since he's been around here and I don't want to search through 112 pages of the pic thread in talk, so I can find something.

No, but I did cut off the lower part of the stock bracket with an angle grinder after I deleted the smog pump.

Take my old bracket to hack up and try out if you want. I dont need it anymore since the motor i just got has the march setup.

Those March setups are just way too expensive.

Yeah, if you cut the lower part as I did, the remaining bracket will only weigh a couple of lb and you can have it powdercoated to improve its looks.
