aftermarket gauges in stock bezel..possible?

Sorry for the delay, just need time to post from home. 2 kids kind of hamper that.

I just found these. There not the best, sorry.

Picture 1 is shown before I purchased the new speedo. I was in the process of making my own speedometer face to match the Autometer gauges, but then decided not to go with it.

Too bad, I just had the steering wheel off last weekend, would of been a good time for some pictures.

Just "to connect the aftermarket gauges" no...but your wiring is over 40 years old and it was engineered to last 10. Even if it was garage kept and extremely low miles it is brittle and high reistance by noiw...many of these cars have corroded wires inside of the insulation and several splices by POs...I think all 65-70s are in need of a new harness by 2007.

I am installing a year one 6 gauge bezel in my 65 Mustang coupe, and I must say it is an intensive install. The fit is going to be custom, but I had to cut the dash for the stereo. I bought that bezel piece after dealing with countless retailers that sold a black plastic 6 gauge bezel for under a hundred dollars. I warn you now, and MARK MY WORDS, it will not be worth to buy a hundred dollar aftermarket black plastic piece, because more than likely the holes will be cut hand and they will be cut rough. You cannot understand the frustration I have going through to get a 6 gauge bezel for my car. Even the piece from year one needed work. I contemplated just flipping out on the phone with them but what would that accomplish.

The gauges in the culster are 2 5/8.

Again, they fit right in like if they were made for it.
