I was heading down to the track with some friends on friday when i got into it with another car. I forgot about my traction control and gunned the car and it did what all mustangs do with TC on, it slugged the engine and the front end went down a little hard.

but then something wierd happen, my Air Bag light came on and doesnt want to go away. i tried taking the battery off so maybe it would reset but its not. Any suggestions as to why and what i can do to solve the issue. thanks

Check to see if a ground wire or something got damaged on the front impact sensors. I can't imagine the t/c being that rough to cause any damage.

It's a 2 digit code, and it can be looked up online here: Ford Probe FAQ - Service Excerpts (Airbag Fault Codes)
