air bag.

well i am deleting the air bag also... 2 q's i pulled 3 boxes which i believe are crash sensors. 1 behind each headlight, and a big one in the center. these are for the air bags right? also, are both blue boxes in the dash for the airbags?

is the steering colum the same between non airbag/airbagged cars? i know airbags didnt have tilt, im just wondering if i can get an atermarket wheel..

1) yes, the sensors you've removed on the radiator support are for the airbags. They are the crash sensors.

2) there is only 1 "blue box" under the dash for the air bags. It will have a # like
F1ZF-14B056-A2A on it. The other "blue box" is probably for your cruise control.

ok. cool. there is the bigger blue box with 2 connectors which i believe is the airbag modulle, the other is smaller with 1 small connector. if it is indeed for the cruise, thats cool too, since im also deleting that.lol. trying to keep this car as neat, and clean as possible...

so will the colum i have accept the 87-89 steering wheel? or an aftermarket one?
