My 89 Mustang came without the AC installed on it. Although everything is functional I would like to install an AC delete pulley. I purchased a bracket but without the bolts. Does anyone know what Bolts I need to mount a OEM bracket on to the motor? Size etc? I would appreciate any feedback.

Tough one to answer because that requires someone having an uninstalled kit sitting around (tough since it's been discontinued for a while) or removing their bolts and measuring.

Looks like the kit comes with 5 bolts. You reused a bunch of your original bolts.

IIRC, they are 7/16 for the short ones and 9/16" (or 1/2") for the long ones, as for the lengths, well looks like you might have to guess based on the pic.

The two long ones pass through the black bracket on the left, through the power steering pump bracket, and thread into the alum fitting on the right. You can go measure the PS pump bracket and add maybe 1" to that length and give that a shot.

Nobody runs delete pulleys.

Get an aftermarket P/S bracket and a shorter belt.

A pulley is just one more thing to break.

Just leave the compressor and bypass the pulley. That way is still there if you want to use it later.

Ahh. You can either relocate the ps pump or justleave it. Personally I would just leave it as is.

I thought he was referring to the Ford AC delete kit.

Its discontinued now, but worth trying to track one down.
