air screws

hey guys just wondering what i should set my air screws at on my carbarator, jsut rebuilt it and i am not to sure!

and also what is hould gap my plugs at, and set my inital timing...thanks a million todd, this is all for at the track this weekend

if you mean the A/F mixture screws, gently seat them, then back them out 3 turns, start car and let warm up. while idling, screw in each 1/4 turn and check for idle speed drop, once a drop is detected backout each screw 1/8 turn. make sure you screw them in and out evenly

u mean screw them in as far as they go then back them out 3 turns, start the car turn them a 1/4 or untill idel drop then set them foward a 1/8 of a turn?

yes, gently don't force them.

yes, 1/4 turn clockwise. once idle drops 1/8 turn counterclockwise

If you are going to be running your nitrous remember to gap plugs 32-36 thou. If you run N/A then you could gap them more like 45 thou
