On an 1988 N/A, where is the air silencer? What does it look like? And how can I take it out? Thanks for any help.

Its that weird L looking pice at the bottom of your air box going to the front of your radiator for grabing air.

Thanks for the help. It was kind of disappointing considering I have already taken it off. But thanks none the less.

Disapointing why ? You took it off, you made an effort to moding your car and I wouldn't be disapointed in that. So what if you don't get 20hp gain from it as long as you try you will learn so much from failure than from anything else. Never give up the fight for raw HP
