Pulled my radio out to access what I thought was the airbag computer behind it bolted to the body. Turns out I wasted my time....wrong computer. So before I resume the search, can anyone point me in the right direction? Is it under the center console? Passenger seat? Thanks.
Found it. For the record in a 1999 gt the restraints control module is located behind the radio in front of the shifter. There is another module of some sort (help me out here) that is directly in front of it (closer to the shifter). The restraints control mod had three, 10mm nuts holding it on to 3 studs and only one plug. The mod had a sticker on the top with and arrow indicating how it is to be mounted properly. It also has the ford emblem and " Restraints Control Module" printed on the sticker. Hope this helps someone.
