I am not getting any notification of a thread that I am following and also no notification when I was quoted in a thread. Any Ideas or thoughts?

Not sure... I got the alert that you alerted me. Look through your preferences in your profile and make sure that nothing is unclicked that's not supposed to be.

That quote should have alerted you as well as @HotFox . Let me know if you got any less than two alerts so far.
