I need to find a good alignment shop in the East and/or Northeast Atlanta. I live in Snellville and I am only minutes away from Lawrenceville. However, I will drive a bit to a good reputable shop.

Here's my concern:

I've heard that most alignment shops (chain stores) won't know how to accurately align my car with the mods that are currently being installed (see list below). My car will be in the shop until the weekend, so after I get new tires put on, I need an alignment pretty quick.

Here's my suspension mods:

MM C/C plates
H&R race springs
Bilsteins
New endlinks and several bushings
New quads
New spring isolators all around

I've been told that the c/c plates will confuse most shops AND that most will just do what the computer says to do WITHOUT taking into account my modified suspension. Granted, the springs should only lower the car 1", but with new isolators the drop will only be around 3/4".

Can anybody lead me in the right direction?

Also, I am having to replace two front tires due to massively bad alignment. Fortunately, the tires are three years old and were going to be replaced in a few months.

I would try Butler Tire. They are the specialist in suspension and tires. You will pay a little more but it is worth it.

You can go to www.svtoa-atlanta.org and post the same question as we have some members in that area that can help you out also!

I signed up on the bulliten board for SVTOA, but I'm not sure which section to post my question? Any suggestion?

I've used Kauffman Tire off of McGuiness Ferry/Ptree Ind to align my C5. The car was lowered, and they nailed it first time.

Kaufman is real nearby me and they have good prices on the tire I want (temporarily for now). Later on I'll get four 275's to go on new wheels.

I'll give them a try, also.

Thanks.

Another vote for Butler Tire, they know what they are doing, plus they use a damn fancy machine when aligning too

Well if you want too, we have had Tires Plusor Discount tire into our meetings to talk to us and they also have that same fancy manchinery, so that is also an option.

I used the NTB between 316 and Hurrican shoals. Its located on the access road next to 316 before you get to HWY20, There is also a Honda bike dealer, luxury landscape and a lightning camper store on that road. They did a nice job on my other stang.
