Alternator + ground?

I was just wondering if I wanted to add a ground to my alternatore where would I put it? I hope I am saying this right.

This is ****ing great my brand new warranty alternator just seized on me...it took only a ****ing 1/2 mile

Hook the ground to the engine block or chassis.

I think he meant where to ground on the alternator. Im thinking of mounting the ground on the pivot retaining bolt, and then to the chassis (which I guess it would then also serve as a second engine ground).

i put mine on that pivot spot between the alt and the bracket and sandwiched them together, then ran it down the the frame

isn't it already ground from the bracket to the engine, and well the engine is grounded?

and dan i know your pain, as soon as the stock alt took a dump, i've always had charging issues. not matter if it was a replacement or a high dollar powermaster. just when i thought it was solved a day or 2 later back to the same ****.
