Code: P0153

Its a 99 GT w/ 600 mi. on new shortblock. All 4 O2's were replaced during the swap. The code was reset and didnt come back on during the 15 mi. drive home. Thanks for the help.

Sounds like you've got longtubes.

I have the same codes, its from the o2's not getting hot enough since they were relocated much farther way from the cylinder head. It also cause my car to run pretty rich 10.5:1 IIRC. Got it tuned out, and CEL turned off, but the code is still there and screws me when its time to get it inspected.

yea i get the same code and the p0133 which is the other bank of exhaust. it comes every few weeks and ive replaced the 02 sensors several times and nothing.

yeah but not LT's...FRPP ceramic shorties. I have checked my plugs and it doesnt appear to be running rich. I need to get it tuned but alas....im in school and have 0 cash flow. The code did eventually reappear. I hate dropping thousands on my ride and having the freakin CEL on. Thanx for the help
