so, my second mishimoto radiator which i got from the warranty is now leaking from the same spot my first radiator that i sent back started leaking from. the radiator works great the first few weeks then outta no where it developes a leak on the passenger side of the car on the towards the top of the unit. i dont understand . does anyone know why it would develope a leak in the same spot? is it just dumb luck? has anyone had the same experience?

Maybe you're getting a lot of chassis twist. From what I understand, Mustang radiators tend to leak from the passenger side because of how the chassis twists under acceleration. Every single radiator I've owned has eventually leaked from the passenger side of the radiator. Granted, they all lasted years, not weeks.

Perhaps it's time to invest in some subframe connectors. Anyone else have any ideas?

Yea, it sounds lik your car is pulling on it alot. The rubber grommets that hold it in place were very streched already on everyone elses. Was you car ever wrecked?

Is Mishimoto considered a reputable brand name for radiators? I've never heard of them.

Ditto on that. At the passenger side between the aluminum and the plastic. And even tough ur alignment is good doesnt mean ur frame is not bent. They could have just shifted the engine cradle to get it just about right.

Yup, I went through three of them. They hold for about a month. They leak from the top three rows on the right side. Thier warranty coverage is great but I got tired of putting in radiators. I have 3 weeks on my Fluidyne. I also have a brand new, in box, Mishimoto for $100, man. trans. NO WARRANTY!
