heya i went and watched saw 3 friday and it was pretty good. lots of gore but i dont think the plot twist at the end was as "OMG" as the first 2 movies.

i like the first one the best. but saw 3 was great!

I went to see it last night, I thought that most of it was funny. That little dude on the tricycle had me rolling on the floor, but your right the end didnt leave you hanging as well as one and two.

i thought it was a good movie. some really cool scenes. but of course hard to beat the twist in the first one, i never expected that.

I didn't like the first one because of the terrible acting and the fact that the idiot didn't know how to cut through a chain with a hack saw. I didn't see the 2nd one, but I did go see the 3rd one on Friday. I'm not into unnecessary gore at all, so I didn't really like it, I thought a lot of it was funny, but if your into that sort of thing then its not a bad movie.

How do you cut through it with a chainsaw, other than back and forth? FWIW, I believe the were to be understood as dulled so they wouldn't cut through metal.

If you like horror, sure! I didn't see the first two until just this past week. 1 was good, 2 had a little more action and was a little more interesting (for those who found the first boring) because it was mostly centered on more than just one room. IMO, anyway. I liked 'em both, and bought Saw II. Gotta pick up 1 eventually.

I didn't like it, I didn't think it was very gory...

I saw it last night. I thought it had a better plot, they should have just expounded on it and made a WOW style ending... like departed

I usually think the same, but this was good. It was more a suspenseful crime/mystery movie to me rather than scary.

I just cant stand how they promote these movies a new saw movie every year, I guess I am just old school the 70's to early 90's is the prime for horror

They never tried to cut through it with a chain saw, I doubt a sharp chain saw could cut through a chain. A hack saw however can cut through metal, even a dull one. I have done it quite a few times, because I didn't give up after 15 seconds of cutting. If it was so dull that even with a little patience it wouldn't cut through a chain, then it would have taken him forever to cut off his foot, not to mention, if the fine teeth of the saw are gone theres no chance its going though his bone.

Not even close to the utter awesomeness of departed, dont even use both movies in the same sentence.

I meant hacksaw. I asked the same question to myself too, but y'know...Live within the movie and you'll enjoy it more
