Just pickedup a new GPU, XFX Geforce 8600 GT XXX, basically a newish midrange DX10 card. So far I'm loving it, plays all my games like FEAR, Company of Heros, C&C3 @ 1280x1024 with maxed settings no slow down. That and another gig of RAM makes my computer feel brand new again and it should hold me over for a while when the next gen games start rolling out later this year, it's like modding a Mustang.

You'd probably find more PC gaming fans in the Land of Make Believe.

I started getting back into PC gaming when I bought a Duo Core and hooked it up to my big screen HDTV.....now I can sit back on my recliner and play games on a 55" screen with my audio going thru my home theater receiver. I only have a 7600gs though, so I can't quite max everything out. I play mostly Counterstrike, BF2142, Fear, Company of Heroes, HL2, and a few other older strategy games sometimes.

I have hooked up my comp to my 50" Samsung DLP but don't do it very often gonna have to now with the extra GPU firepower.

C&C3 looks silly with everything turned up I can't stop playin it.

I'm gonna have to check out BF, everyone talks about it.

I still rock BF2, along with several other cool cats on StangNet. Shoot me a message man, and I'll get you our TeamSpeak server.

If you need the TS software, I can shoot you a quick link as well.

I'm all about Counter Strike: Source. I'll put in anywhere from 1-2 hours a day on it. I'm dirty.

I still fire up Starcraft every once in a while, it's just a timeless classic. I just need to get my wife a laptop so I can have the PC all to myself lol.

I used to play Enemy Territory a lot. Playing new Command and Conquer right now.

Was totally addicted to racing GTR2 Online a few months ago. Thats well worth a look for 20 bucks if you have a joypad or wheel. I had my own server going for a while - I have a second PC right here for hosting ****.

Get yourself a 22" widescreen LCD. So cool for gaming. Your new G card will easily support 1680x1050. $250 well spent!

I used to play CS, Firearms, DoD and other hl mods back in the day...then started playing City of Heroes, then quit that and went to Battlefield 1942 and Desert Combat and then to Battlefield 2... Sorta retired from PC gaming since then. I like to stick to consoles now because it's a lot cheaper, and with the 360 you can download demos prior to buying which is great

I have a friend that's working in Korea. He says it's amazing how crazy Starcraft is still over there...they even have tournaments. Like have people get together in the same building, then compete. haha...

I just had a computer built...it's sweet.

WOW ....all I have to say.
Who has time for anything else?

If you've never played WOW...don't. it really is addicting.

Yea I'm not entirely sure I want a widescreen monitor, still on the fence about it. Plus if I really wanna go big I can hook it up to my 50" Samsung DLP

I went from PC games to Playstation then PS2 then now back to PC. I dunno about being cheaper, maybe upfront yeah (course the Ps3 is an arm n leg now), but I think the games for console cost a bit more, you can mod your computer some to keep up (I think actually new vid cards are out that already surpass even the PS3 in terms of performance), plus you can download demos for computer games as well. That's part of the reason i just bought a new vid card, didn't wanna pony up 400 to 600 for a new console. Not to mention computer can be used for so much more then playing games. Either way I'm a fan of both.

Yea I didn't beat FEAR in 2 days but replay is limited on it I think, but now that I can crank the graphics up I might check it out again.

I've been tempted to pick it up, I've seen vids, shows and friends play it but for now I'm staying away, I don't have time as it is for most of my other stuff.

Am I the only guy that plays Guild Wars?

I used to be hella into Diablo 2, and just got off of a WoW addiction a few months ago. I just bought God of War 2, and that will be taking my time soon.
