dist boot condensation?? never seen it or heard of it?? the factory used them so i would say there good... They wouldn't spend money on parts that are junk..... most people don't like the look... i could care less myself, I really don't car what my engine looks like as long is it runs like a top.....
I've owned my car for almost 15years. I had the dist.boot on for about 10yrs and one day I decidedto take it off and it's been off ever since. I've never had a problem either way with or without it!
My guess the reason Ford put it on was as to keep steam from entering between the cap and dist if you happen to run into some deep water on the road. Water and a hot motor = problems.
