how hard is it? it looks like theres a trick to it, im talking about the one around the sunroof, not the one that it sits on that goes on the body itself.
No its not adhesive, you just push the new one on.
I remember I was a bit uncertain myself about how to do it, but as soon as I got the old one off then it was pretty obvious how to proceed. It was so easy I have actually forgotten how I did it...
No worries man, just get going. I did both weatherstrips at the same time and it reduced wind noise a lot! Money well spent.
When I did mine, I also took off the metal track, sandblasted, and painted it trim black. The metal piece is adhesive - I put mine back on with black silicone. That made a big difference! Good luck.

I have an 89 and the metal trim looks like crap. Any tricks to pulling it off without damaging it? I also did both Weatherstrips and replaced the tabs in front. Now the back rear corners stick up and the sunrood is hard to close. Do I need to adjust the front tabs that slide into the plastic holders on the front side? any other things to look for? Also the trim on the sunroof fits like crap as well.
