Anyone going to the Mustang vs. Camaro shootout at Englishtown on the 24th?

I am gonna be there, as well as my GF (I hope shes racing, but the car isnt finished yet and Im not sure when its gonna be done), and I know of 4-5 Fbody guys going as of now. I am going to talk another kid with a Mustang into going (ERnotch, or Reefnotch on here) and I might also try to rig up an in car camera for some vids!

Ill probably drive down there, might trailer it if I can get one. If not I bolt on some tires and run it, then bolt on the street tires!

yea but i think my front bumper (roush) is designed to attract rocks and bugs to it so 2 hours on the highway will leave me with nothing but chiped paint and bug guts.

True... it pays that my front bumper is stock and already like that, so it doesnt bother me. I worry about my rev limiter launches on slicks with stock axles!

sounds like you have a bigger problem than I do. Good luck and hopefully i will be able to spot some of the stangnetter's cars at the show.

I think you missed that by quite some time. The Fun Ford Weekend event was in May and as far as i know there is no other ford event at etown in august. The Fords at Etown is in october.

i think there is something going on in mid august from what my friend told me, sure exactly whats going on. I'll have to ask him.

Ill be at the Fords @ Etown event also running Factory Stock!!! Going to be a lot of good Jersey racing this summer!
