Anyone have a 99+ rear axle in their car?

I am thinking of doing a 99+ rear axle swap - from brake to brake. I have some questions before I spend any money though.

If anyone has done this swap, how does it work?

Were you able to swap it wholesale without having to transfer any parts?
Did you do the brakes as well, or did you swap your stock brakes over to the new axle?

shouldnt have any problems. are you doing the whole rear end or just the axles. you would run into problems if you are just doing a rear axle swap since it is like .75" longer across, so part of they axle on both sides would be sticking out of the housing...bad news. other than that, my friend put an 01 rear end in his 97 and had no problems at all. easy swap.
