I recently spoke with Stainless Works (stainlessworks.net) about the possibility of a GP. They agreed to give a 30% discount if we reached a large enough order. I am going to order headers and full exhaust for my '04 Cobra and one other forum member is going to do the same.

We really only need one more order so I am only going to leave this open until we get two orders or until Friday, 11/12, whichever comes first.

For you '65-'73 guys they have LOTS of stuff including headers, Tri-Y headers and exhaust. You can check:

http://www.stainlessworks.net/Ford Mustang 1964-2003.htm

for the list of parts and prices. GP price is 30% off retail.

There are some photos at:

http://www.stainlessworks.net/Ford ...leflow Headers for 64-73 small block Mustangs.

to give you and idea of what their headers and welding work look like.

Expect about $50 shipping for headers and $50 for exhaust systems. Stainless Works said that manufacturing and shipping can take 4-6 weeks since most sets are made to order.

Please PM or e-mail me (tvineyard@sbcglobal.net) if you are interested and I will let you know what day we are going to place orders.

Thanks,
TJ

Wow! I couldn't have read a better add if I had written it myself.

Only if they would make a 3" diameter system.

thehueypilot -

I am not sure why they don't. Almost all of their classic car stuff seems to be aimed more towards resto and repair than performance. The whole reason I am interested in them is the 3" system for my Cobra. It seems like it would be easier to design a system for your car than it was to fit it around my IRS. And it also seems like you guys might even have a bigger market...

I wish I could help,
TJ

be very careful with them, tjvineyard.

i heard that the fit on their headers is almost never right, requires ALOT of brute force and that they take much longer than expected on orders (and are hard to get hold of).
