I see that they have this policy where I can choose a shop, and the tires that I buy will be shipped to that shop. Has anyone done this before? How'd it go?

I wish I could install my own tires. I don't have access to the tools.

I just have them shipped to my house. The tirerack facility is awesome btw, freaking huge, and the test track is kickass.

I didn't end up having it done but that's what I was going to do at a place up here called KC Trends. They just told me the same thing....that I could just have them shipped to the shop and they'd take care of everything for me.

I did it- I had my BFGs shipped to Firestone for installation. I even got a special rate, I would recommend it.... Who wants to fit 4 tires in there sports car?

I had a set sent from Tirerack to the shop once, and it went perfectly. Just get the shop's permission first, of course...
