Trying to put modern led lights on a car from the 80s just doesn't look right

+1 on that and i might go as far as to add most of the 90's in there. those caddy crossover things with teh vertical leds that look like they are flickering unless you look right at them drive me nuts!

They remind me of the late 80's Firebirds. Not for a Stang.

I guess i mainl just a fan of the smooth housing not necessarily the LED factor. I wonder if they would come apart like the stockers.

I've got brand new LX tails and plan on sticking with them, but theseintrigued me because they were different. Honestly i just think the smooth look would be perfect for a subtle modificaiton.

I think they're awful. That being said, it'd be nice to build an LED "grid" like that, to go behind the stock lens and really brighten up the tails. I may try that, if I ever pick up another Fox.

Honestly, if anyone ever built LED grids that fit inside the stock lens...i think they would have a winner.

But then again, LED's behind a diffuser style lens is a design no-no.

With the age these cars are nowadays...honestly....stock is beautiful IMHO. I see a comeback in cheese-graters, 10-holes and turbines in the next few years!

Thats not entirely true - I remember YEARS ago someone built an LED board that sat behind a stock LX lense and it looked AMAZING. I'm pretty sure i have the pics on my home computer. If i do i'll upload them later
