I was wondering if anyone had any bad experiences with using the silicone when putting a pi intake on non pi heads on a 98 gt 4.6

This is one of the better Mustang sites for SN95s that I've found.

As for PI intake on a 98, I never could get one to seal perfectly on mine; ended up buying a cheap Chinese npi unit until I decide how to proceed.

Not sure on that one. I've seen some guys seal them up with silicone, just putting it in the right area. Go make another post on the 4.6 tech forum and you'll get plenty of engine builders answering your questions perfectly. Theres a lot of really experienced guys on here who are super helpful.
