All of my books are 50 miles away! :bang: :nono: :nonono:  :notnice: :( :bs:

I would like to hook up my Autometer oil psi gauge (3522) to the stock wire, so that I don't have to run another wire into the engine bay.
Where can I tap into the signal wire inside the cabin?
What color is the stock wire I need to find?
Same color as where it hooks to the sending unit?
Does the stock oil psi signal wire run to the computer? I think this would be easiest.

I appreciate any help, as I would like to hook this up fairly soon.

Jason, I assume you are ditching the use of the stock OP gauge?

As long as you disco' the stock wire before it hits the cluster (IVR, etc concerns) it should be fine.

The guys who do the FL5.0 clusters might know more.

Good luck.

I don't know anyone who has done it that way, but I can tell you according to the diagrams that the wire goes from the sender through two (one of the 10-pins and another by the firewall) connectors then to the gauge. It stays the same color throughout.
