If so where did you get them and how much. I have desided I need a larger header for my combo. Thanks, James

Accufab...custom to your setup, and only $500.

James have you called Fordpowertrain.com yet that was mentioned in a previous post of yours? Your choices are limited to $400?-500 for "off the shelf" 1 3/4 long tubes in which you'll likely have clearance issues.

But if you call fordpowertrain or accufab, you'll get a way better solution for around $500, way better clearance and they won't be coated.

I have the 1 3/4" accufabs in my 65, which has a narrow engine compartment and they fit fine--excellant ground clearance. Would even be better in your 67' . . . .

Thanks, 500.00 isn't too bad, I will call them, thanks for the advise. I hate being the first person to try something. I have had a few problems with my set up, I just blew a copper head gasket also.

Will shorties fit our applications. I was told that we can use late model shorties on the early stang's. Any one heard of this..

I worried about getting them coated because I might have to bend them a little with my th400 tranny. I liked the acufab's. And they were only 500.00, not too bad
