How does it fit? Any alignment issues after install?

Thanks.

When I visited Mike (OinkAodeoink) he had just got done installing the UPR kit. Looked good to me. I had been debating getting that one for awhile. The QA1 looks good too.

yea mines fine.. I pulled off the strut tower brace, and factory K memeber brace, and dont enjoy the sloppy front end..

Now on a coupe, you woudlnt have this problem, but on my vert, i have to make a custom K memeber brace, to replace the factory piece, to help stiffen things up..

Other then that, the K memeber goes right in, easy stuff.. As far as the coil overs are concerned, they went in fine and work fine also, except for some front end rattles, but im almost sure i can easly fix that. I have the whole UPR front end kit (QA1 springs)

I also have the UPR K member kit with the a-arms and coilover kit as well, I ended up having to buy the MM coilover kit for bilsteins because the kit is meant to be used with factory style struts. I also noticed that it set my motor back about an inch as well. One other thing was we had to massage the steering rack mounts to make the steering rack fit, but that was really minor. It's a nice kit I think.

hmm, im running the lakewood 90/10's and didnt have a problem, then agian they have the same physical demensions as the factory struts..

UPR K memebers set the motor back an inch huh? I had no idea.. Im running UPR solid motor mounts and didnt notice a diference in the position of the motor, then agian 1" isnt a whole lot.

For the steering rack, i am currently using the flaming river manual rack, and it all slid together without a problem.
Never did try it with the factory or flaming river p/s rack.

The design on the bilsteins is a bit different on the topside of the strut assembly so the factory coilover kit didn't work as well- it moved around and the spring perch wasn't seated properly on the top.

I have been using the QA1 K-member for a while now and really notice the difference. I am still using the factory A-arms, struts, and PS rack. It went on with no major modifications: the drivers side LT BBK had to be dimpled, the motor mount pins had to be ground off. The car is lowered with Eibach springs, about 1-1/2", and this kit lowered the front another 1+ inches. Really low now, Looks great but now I avoid certain areas in town. But I really like QA1 kit.

Cool, that's exactly what I needed to know. I'm doing the same set up with the factory A arms for now.
