aod dipstick tube leak?

ok ive had tranny fluid dripping from the corner of my pan for awhile now...i thought my gasket was old, so i changed the fluid, gasket filter and put a new pan on it...well i ran it for awhile , let it sit overnight and now tonight it still dripped a couple times..i think its pushing out the bottom of the dipstick tube where it enters the transmission?? anyone ever have this problem??
i tried smearing some rtv around it...

Sure, you need a new O ring on it. About $1 at Ford.

oh really it has an o-ring?
ok now let me ask you this...how can i change this...dont tell me i gotta drop the pan again..can you just pull the tube out..or will fluid spill out?

There is a small tab on the tube that a bolt goes through to hold it in. Clean the area off good so no crud falls in, remove the bolt and slide the tube out. If the trans is not over full, fluid will not come out.

yea ok that bolt is up near the top tho right..i think its almost attached to the side of the block of the back of it...
therse no bolt at the bottom there where the tube enters right?

so the o- ring just slips on the bottom of the tube when you pull it out..and then you just push it back in?
