Some of you guys out there have done the AOD swap.

what i failed to realize is that a typical long tube style won't fit. The main problem is that on my drivers side, I've got the AOD jacked all the way up, and the headers can be bolted up, but they're hitting the power steering ram.

what brand of headers have you guys used in your swaps??? I'm hoping for still using a set of long tubes, but I'm not sure where to go.

thanks!

I used 351w headers on my 302 and they cleared but they hang down a bit more than normal

shorties work...

Hedman elite shorties.

IIRC i've read where some guys had theirs cut and re-welded at the collector.

I have the hedman shorties too. Nice headers, and no worries about clearance.
