Anyone ever have to change AODE tranny mounts?

I think mine are gone as I'm getting a 'clunk' when the car changes gear, or when I press or ease off on the gas.

I also get a little bounce in the back end at low speeds when I press or ease off on the gas.


Car has about 110,000 miles on it, suspension and motor mounts are A1.

At least they are cheap.

Are you sure it's not the U-joints or some play in the differential?

Thanks for the reply.

As far as the 'clunk' goes, I'm 99% sure its the tranny.The sound comes from the right front of the tranny console. When I park the car, I can sit in it for quite some time. When I get out, the same clunk. I know its not the suspension - I just got that completely checked.

The bounce might be the diff, I've never changed the oil in it.


Its supposed to continue to rain here for the next 4 days. It'll give me a little time to research it further, but I won't really be able to look under the car.

Update

Just wanted to update anyone interested. I hate when people never post a follow up to their queries.



The clunk is gone, I put in an Energy suspension Tranny mount.



Getting vibration now at certain speeds. I believe that the driveshaft may be out of alignment or bent from the tranny flopping around.
