My 95 GT makes a howling/whining noise when it shiftes into overdrive. I had to take my aluminum driveshaft out because it seemed to amplify the noise. If you take the car out of overdrive, the noise stops. I had 2 trans shops ride in the car and both of them said it sounded like the bearing on the planetary gear was bad. Well, I took it to a friends trans shop today and he pulled the trans apart. He said there was nothing wrong. He said all of the bearing looked like new and even the bands and clutches look new. The car has 93k on it. He is baffled and I'm sick of the noise. If we can't figure out what the noise is, I will sell the car. Anybody got any ideas????
