Are the steering rack lines normally "loose"

I was under the car doing a oil change and happened to grab one of the PS lines going to the rack. I have no leaks but the lines seem to be looser than I would expect. I know they are supposed to pivot a bit, and the "o" rings are what seal it, but mine move all around in the rack. Just doesnt look right. Im sure thats how they always were but now I dont know. Did a search but only found threads about leaking racks. Anyone know?

Yep, normal... don't worry about it. If it's leaking, then that's a different story.
